• Account Information: Name, email address when you place an order
• Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your full credit card details
• Content: Podcast episodes, YouTube videos, or other media you submit for processing
• Preferences: Target platforms, style notes, and other customization preferences

Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, features used
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
• Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your orders
• Generate clips from your submitted content
• Deliver clips to your connected scheduler (Buffer, Later)
• Send order confirmations and delivery notifications
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. Content Processing & Storage

When you submit content for processing:

• Your content is processed using AI services (Deepgram for transcription, Anthropic Claude for analysis)
• Generated clips are stored temporarily on Cloudflare R2
• Clips are available for download for 7 days after delivery
• After 7 days, clips are automatically deleted from our servers
• We do not use your content to train AI models
• We do not share your content with third parties except as necessary to provide the service

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing
• Deepgram: Audio transcription
• Anthropic: AI-powered content analysis
• Cloudflare: Content storage and delivery
• Zapier: Scheduler integrations (Buffer, Later)
• Resend: Email delivery
• Vercel: Website hosting
• Supabase: Database services

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

6. Data Retention

• Order records: Retained for 2 years for business and legal purposes
• Generated clips: Deleted 7 days after delivery
• Source content: Deleted within 24 hours after processing
• Account information: Retained until you request deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Please do not upload or share content containing sensitive personal information when using our Services.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

10. Children's Privacy

ClipWise is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
